Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking an Enterprise Software Engineer to work on Pig and PySpark analytics from Annapolis Junction, MD. The role supports Secure the Enterprise initiatives, emphasizing automation, data gathering, and continuous monitoring across project lifecycles.

The candidate will deliver reliable data to end users, review data ingest tickets, and collaborate with other developers on the analytics pipeline.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and/or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team.
• Will be focused on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that day-to-day operations are successful. including investigating data arriving accurately into the system.

Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer that will provide the analytic support involving security and patch management.

As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system securityevaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.

• Will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team

This position may allow for telework based on program requirements.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience
