Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a motivated frontend engineer to build intuitive web applications for data-centric solutions.

You will collaborate across design, backend, and data science teams to deliver cohesive user experiences in a hybrid work setting. This role requires strong JavaScript experience, familiarity with modern frameworks, and the ability to obtain DoD 8140/8570 certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years frontend development experience with a related Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140/8570 certification within 60 days of hire.
• Experience with JavaScript and at least one framework (Vue/React/Angular/Backbone).
• Proficiency with Git and Unix/Linux command line.
• Hybrid work availability, 1–2 days per week in Columbia, MD.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications.

• Help define and interact with REST based APIs and perform unit testing.

We are seeking a motivated Frontend Developer who is passionate about building intuitive applications that meet the needs of our users. Asking questions, failing fast, and writing maintainable code are at the center of what we do while building applications for a Data Lake/Warehouse. • Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications
• JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review
• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences
• Help define and interact with REST based API's
• Troubleshoot customer reported issues in applications and providing support
• Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing
• Other duties as assigned

This position allows for partial telework.

Clearance

Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, but not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required.

Experience

Five plus (5+) years of experience with front end software development/engineering and a Bachelors in related field; or three (3) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and nine (9) years relevant experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge or experience with JavaScript and one or more web application frameworks (ie: Vue / React / Angular / Backbone) or similar demonstrated competency
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software
• Comfortable working on a *nix command line
• Self-motivation; Ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues / tickets accordingly
• Problem solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (i.e. Security+) within 60 days of hire
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office; flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed

Desired skills
