Job summary

Smithsonian Enterprises is seeking a Software Developer to advance our technology initiatives in Washington, DC. You will design, develop, and support enterprise applications, data integrations, and analytics solutions that drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

The role requires strong experience with Microsoft technologies, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, and/or 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Azure services, SQL Server, Power Platform, Fabric, and related tools.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise data integrations, ETL/ELT processes, and data visualizations using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support enterprise applications and integrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Develop APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics solutions to support decision-making.
