Peraton is seeking an entry level Enterprise Service Admin with a focus on Infrastructure Cloud to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia. The role involves creating cloud applications, implementing cloud infrastructure solutions, and ensuring security of cloud systems for clients.

Responsibilities include designing and managing cloud environments, migration, data integration, and developing large data algorithms for research and production use.

• Optimize memory management identifying the best ways to develop distributed cluster-enabled and graph processing algorithms.
• Be involved with data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas, RDF translations, and defining domain-specific functionality.
• Develop large data technologies, algorithms, and applications for clients; research, evaluate, and deploy advanced cloud computing systems and large data analytics.
• Work with massive data sets, complex algorithms, and team members from diverse specialties to resolve clients' hardest problems.
• Support a range of clients from front line analysts to researchers and senior leadership; contribute on a collaborative, fast-growing software development team.
• Experience with information extraction and analysis techniques, practices, and algorithms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, Hadoop or MapReduce, Netezza, Vertica, BigTable, Pig, Teradata, or AWS; ability to obtain a clearance.
• Apply knowledge in computer science, particularly in the Semantic Web and cloud computing environments.
• Develop, implement and maintain processes, procedures, test cases, results, issue resolutions, and documentation.

The candidate must have demonstrated experience managing cloud-based systems and processes. The successful candidate will create cloud applications, implement cloud infrastructure solutions, and ensure the security of for our clients' cloud systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, build and manage cloud infrastructure environments.

• Support infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.

• Identify top architecture solutions to successfully meet and maintain the clients' strategic needs.

• Install, troubleshoot, patch and configure cloud servers for optimal performance.

• Optimize memory management identifying the best ways to develop distributed cluster-enabled and graph processing algorithms.

• Be involved with data integration and migration efforts, including mapping schemas, performing Resource Framework Definition (RDF) translations, and defining domain specific functionality, where applicable

• Develop large data technologies, algorithms, and applications for clients. Research, evaluate, and deploy advanced cloud computing systems and large data analytics for clients in research and production areas.

• Work with massive data sets, complex algorithms, and team members from a variety of specialties to resolve clients' hardest problems.

• Support a range of clients from front line analysts to researchers and senior leadership. Work as a key contributor on a collaborative, fast-growing, and highly skilled software development team.

• Experience with information extraction and analysis techniques, practices, and algorithms.

• Knowledge of a variety of advanced computer science and mathematical concepts, practices, and procedures associated with the analysis of large datasets, from indexing schemes to statistical tests

• Knowledge of Cloud computing, Hadoop or MapReduce, Netezza, Vertica, BigTable, Pig, Terradata, or Amazon Web Services-Ability to obtain a security clearance.

• Apply knowledge in computer science, particularly in the Semantic Web and cloud computing environments.

• Develop, implement and maintain processes, procedures, test cases, test results, issue resolutions, and performance analysis, and user guidelines/ instructions documentation.

• Travel: Travel may be required within the National Capital Region (NCR) on an as needed basis for customer or corporate requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a Poly clearances.

• 0 years with BS/BA, 4 years no degree

• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Desired Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearances.

• Degree(s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• AWS Certified Cloud Architect.

• Knowledge of web services API, REST and RPC.

• Containerization experience using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Python, Java, and Ruby programming languages.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

This Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required

To hold this clearance.

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
