Job summary

Everon is seeking a field service technician in Fremont, CA to service and repair low voltage panels and devices. You will troubleshoot systems, test signals, and train customers on operation while maintaining truck stock and documenting every service call.

The role requires reading drawings, a valid driver’s license, and 1+ year of experience. NICET I certification within one year is required for fire alarm systems; travel and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 1+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with troubleshooting enterprise intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Reading drawings and pulling wires per diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screen.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience)

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have one (1) or more years of experience.
• Must have a working knowledge of trouble shooting enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
• Working knowledge of local/national codes desired.
• Must be able to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug screening.

Certification/Licensing

• Must obtain NICET Level I Certification within one (1) year (for fire alarm systems only).
• Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.
• Requires 25 % to 50 % proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Enterprise product offerings.

• Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.

Pay And Benefits Disclosure

The pay range for this role is $22.91 - $39.71 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications. Employees accrue up to 80 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer paid holidays.
