Job summary

GEICO seeks an Endpoint and Automation Security Engineer to design, implement, and improve security across the enterprise. You will collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security operations teams to strengthen the security posture, automate detection and response, and reduce risk.

The role requires proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, and strong cross‑functional communication to drive secure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, endpoint engineering, or security automation.
• Experience administering endpoint security platforms and scripting/automation.

• Administer, maintain, and optimize endpoint security platforms including EDR/XDR and device management.
