Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services Inc. is seeking an Information Security Architect to design, assess, and advance security architecture across IAM, cloud, data, and enterprise systems.

You will lead architecture strategy, governance, and standards while partnering with security, engineering, and risk teams to secure technology decisions across the organization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in information security and strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Information Security.
• Experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise security capabilities.
• Broad architecture experience spanning cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, application, data, identity, and enterprise technology domains.
• Translate business objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk into scalable security architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, cloud security, IAM, data protection, and cyber resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise cybersecurity architecture vision and technology strategy with actionable roadmaps.
• Govern architecture across IAM, cloud, data, and OT domains ensuring alignment with priorities.
• Advise on complex initiatives; lead governance and ensure adherence to standards and controls.
• Develop enterprise security reference architectures, patterns, and standards.
• Partner with AI governance to design secure AI-enabled solutions.
• Define guidance for emerging technologies, including Generative AI, focusing on data protection and secure lifecycle controls.
• Monitor threat intel, regulatory developments, and technology trends for strategy.
• Ensure vendor selections align with architecture principles and risk appetite.
• Champion security-by-design, zero trust, least privilege across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with teams to support threat detection, incident response, and compliance.
• Establish and maintain architecture quality standards and observability.
• Mentor architects and engineers to foster a security-first culture.
