Job summary

SMBC is seeking an experienced Director to govern and evolve the enterprise Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You will partner with Engineering, Architecture, Cyber Security, and Risk to drive compliant, measurable software delivery across platforms such as Jira, ServiceNow, and GitHub.

With 10+ years in SDLC management and 5+ years in leadership, you will translate regulatory and risk requirements into practical processes, manage governance, and lead modernization initiatives in a hybrid

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SDLC management, governance, risk, or related fields.
• 5+ years leading enterprise-wide process modernization efforts.
• Experience governing SDLC/DevSecOps in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise SDLC framework governance and improvements.
• Maintain SDLC standards, controls, and governance policies.
• Drive adoption of SDLC requirements across technology groups.
• Identify gaps, risks, and remediation strategies.
• Lead automation and efficiency initiatives in SDLC.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for SDLC metrics.
• Escalate risks and present performance insights to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit readiness.
• Embed SDLC requirements in platforms like Jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
