In addition to this, we manage a growing portfolio of Fortune 500 commercial clients. Throughout our history, we have been pioneers in developing some of the most advanced tools available for analytics, media optimization, reporting, and influencer outreach.

About the team:

BlueLabs' Public Affairs Practice sits within our Client Solutions Team, leading our public affairs engagements with major commercial clients. We partner with Fortune 500 companies to design and implement innovative solutions that leverage custom media and influencer analytics, experimental analysis, and AI.

Our team is a dynamic, collaborative group that thrives on developing customized strategies and exploring cutting‑edge tools to meet the unique needs of each client. We are committed to providing end‑to‑end support, from initial consultation through program implementation, ensuring our clients have the insights and resources they need to make informed, data‑driven decisions that deliver measurable results.

About the role:

BlueLabs seeks motivated, dynamic, and seasoned growth leaders to contribute to and drive significant new revenue growth for our Public Affairs Practice. Depending on your experience level, you will enter as a Director, Senior Director, or Managing Director.

Across all levels, this role is a primary engine for net‑new revenue, proactively hunting for new logos, cultivating high‑value relationships, and closing transformative public affairs engagements within the Fortune 500 landscape. The ideal candidate will leverage an established professional network, a proven sales track record, and sharp business development acumen to shape go‑to‑market strategies and expand enterprise accounts.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

New Business Development & Revenue Generation

  • Proactively and independently identify, target, and secure new client engagements with major corporations, consistently advancing prospects through the sales cycle to close complex deals.
  • Leverage your established network to open new doors and create meaningful entry points into Fortune 500 organizations.
  • Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and go‑to‑market strategies that align BlueLabs’ capabilities with client pain points and strategic priorities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed ambitious revenue, pipeline, and growth targets tailored to your level.

Client Engagement & Delivery Excellence

  • Cultivate strong client relationships, acting as a strategic partner, trusted advisor, and thought leader to new and existing clients.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery and measurable client impact that supports long‑term expansion opportunities.
  • Advocate for client needs internally, ensuring project success and contributing to BlueLabs’ broader market positioning and value proposition.

Technical Expertise & Communication

  • Clearly articulate BlueLabs’ technical offerings, including analytics, modeling, experimentation, and AI, to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on and review proposals, pitch decks, RFPs, and deliverables across the practice to ensure strategic alignment and excellence.
  • Prepare and communicate weekly updates on pipeline activity, new business progress, and client relationship health for senior leadership.
  • Partner with internal technical and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of client engagements.
  • Collaborate with departmental and organizational leadership to identify new market opportunities and convert strategic initiatives into actionable growth plans.
  • Mentor, support, and guide team members working on client engagements (with formal direct report management scaling by level).
  • Contribute thought leadership, market insights, and external‑facing material that elevates BlueLabs’ presence in the analytics and data science space, with the scope and expectation of independent thought leadership scaling by level.

Qualifications

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to craft creative, data‑driven solutions tailored to unique client needs.

Candidates will be placed into one of the three tiers based on their professional experience and scope of leadership:
