Job summary

Highmark Health is offering the Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Internship in Utah. The program provides hands-on training across enterprise risk management, governance, compliance, and strategic planning, with exposure to healthcare operations and information security.

Interns will work with risk professionals and business leaders on projects that develop professional skills and provide insights into risk reporting, governance, and strategy.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise risk reporting and documentation as part of the Enterprise Risk Strategy team.
• Research emerging risks and industry trends to inform risk assessments and governance activities.
• Assist with risk taxonomy development and preparation of executive-facing materials.
• Participate in strategic projects across Enterprise Risk and Governance and contribute to risk oversight.
• Develop analytical, research, and communication skills through mentorship and project-based learning.
