You will build control assurance frameworks, test controls, manage remediation, and deliver metrics and dashboards across the organization. The role requires 8+ years of financial risk experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in risk management within large financial institutions.

Responsibilities

They are seeking an operational risk professional to lead and manage firm-wide operational and organizational risk.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in building a framework for performing control assurance testing for key business processes across the firm
• Conduct control assurance testing, document current processes and controls, test control effectiveness, and identify control gaps or failures
• Manage project collaborators with diverse agendas, drive meetings, develop consensus, handle project schedules, and apply standard project management processes
• Partner with operational risk leads to manage and track status of remediation efforts
• Build out reporting/dashboard infrastructure to provide operational risk metrics
• Generate and distribute reporting and metrics for firm-wide and corporate risk

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of in-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and standard processes in a large financial institution
• Experience coordinating control testing engagements, with familiarity in coding and technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

Compensation:

Salary: $125,000 - $175,000
