Columbia Bank is seeking a Risk Analyst to support its Enterprise Risk Management program. The role collaborates with risk professionals, business stakeholders, and SMEs to document, monitor, and report risks. Candidates should be curious about risk, compliance, AI, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

You will work onsite in Phoenix, gain exposure to multiple risk disciplines, and contribute to improving risk practices while aligning with regulatory guidance and bank policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years in banking, risk management, compliance, IT/InfoSec, AI, or audit.
• Working knowledge of risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting.
• Ability to work under supervision with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong oral and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of enterprise risk management concepts and regulatory guidance.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI; IRM/GRC systems helpful.
• Problem-solving with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support risk assessments aligned with Enterprise Risk Identification and Assessment standards.
• Prepare materials, track actions, and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
• Assist in risk report, dashboard, and presentation preparation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business and risk stakeholders to gather information.
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement of risk programs.
• Maintain governance of risk processes, standards, and taxonomies.
• Stay compliant with bank regulations and annual training requirements.
• Follow bank policies and ensure knowledge of relevant regulations.
