Job summary

recruitAbility is seeking an ERP Implementation Analyst to lead site readiness for a multi-module ERP rollout in Goleta, CA. The role bridges business needs and technical teams, ensuring alignment across supply chain, manufacturing, and finance during migration.

The analyst will translate requirements, support training and go-live activities, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and the external partner to close communication gaps throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience; equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• ERP experience across supply chain, manufacturing, and finance modules, preferably with Deltek Costpoint.
• Experience supporting ERP migrations, integrations, or large-scale application implementations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate operational requirements into clear technical and functional needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site’s Business Readiness Owner and primary point of contact for the ERP implementation.
• Develop a detailed understanding of operational and business processes across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and related functions.
• Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders and the external implementation partner, translating requirements and closing communication gaps.
• Support users with system navigation, training, reporting requests, technical issues, and enhancement opportunities.
• Collaborate with ERP and Business Systems teams on sitewide issues, initiatives, integrations, and process changes.
• Support all phases of the ERP implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, data migration, go-live, and post-launch support.
• Create and maintain policies, procedures, forms, training materials, and other controlled documents affected by ERP-related process changes.
• Promote integrated processes, streamlined data flows, system continuity, and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular, comprehensive updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Job description

The role requires a combination of business-process knowledge, technical ERP expertise, and strong communication skills. The analyst will develop a thorough understanding of site operations, translate business requirements for the implementation team, and ensure both organizations remain aligned throughout the migration.

This is a 3-6 month contract position with the potential to convert to full-time employment.

• Experience working within a U.S. public company and familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and government-contracting requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
• Experience supporting organizational readiness, user training, and change management during an ERP implementation.
