Job description

Overview

Wendover Art Group is seeking an ERP Systems Administrator who understands that successful systems are built on strong processes, data integrity, and disciplined execution, not shortcuts, personal preference, or one-off fixes. This role is ideal for a technically capable problem solver who wants to grow their impact, sharpen their system thinking, and take ownership of meaningful improvements in a fast-moving manufacturing environment, building scalable solutions that directly support how the business operates and grows.

About Wendover Art Group

Wendover Art Group is a privately owned, domestic designer and manufacturer of artwork serving the commercial, residential, and corporate markets. Founded on the core values of Honor, Excellence, Team, and Smart, Wendover has grown revenue more than 12x since 2005, evolving from a small, concentrated wholesaler into a vertically integrated industry leader serving thousands of customers.

Wendover operates across Hospitality, Healthcare, Senior Living, Multi-Family, Interior Design, and Residential Retail, and continues to grow through strategic acquisitions, including:

  • Lowcountry Originals – handmade custom lighting and bed swings
  • The Light Post – lighting showroom and design services
  • Kevin O’Brien Studio – luxury textiles and bedding
  • Friedman Brothers – handcrafted mirrors using old-world techniques since 1903

This growth demands systems that are stable, scalable, and thoughtfully designed and that is where this role comes in.

The Role

The ERP Systems Administrator is a key member of Wendover’s Information Systems team, responsible for the administration, enhancement, and evolution of the company’s core business systems, including ERP, CRM, production management, and e-commerce platforms.

This is a hands-on builder role, not a passive support position. You will own system improvements end-to-end, identifying inefficiencies, designing solutions, developing automations, and ensuring systems support the way the business actually operates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own System Enhancements: Lead ERP and business system initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Build Automations & Integrations: Develop custom automations and integrations using strong coding skills to improve data flow, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive Measurable Efficiency Gains: Proactively identify process bottlenecks and design technical solutions that reduce manual work and improve scalability across departments.
  • Database Development & Optimization: Manage and optimize SQL Server databases, including complex queries, stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and reporting logic.
  • System Administration & Support: Serve as a primary administrator for core systems—managing users, permissions, security, and resolving advanced system issues.
  • Data Integration Ownership: Design, maintain, and monitor reliable data integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems.
  • Project & Vendor Leadership: Manage system-related projects and coordinate with outside developers, integrators, and software vendors.
  • AI Enablement: Research, test, and implement AI tools that automate workflows, improve decision-making, and increase team productivity.
  • M&A Systems Integration: Play a critical role in onboarding acquired companies migrating data, aligning systems, and stabilizing operations post-acquisition.
What It Takes to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–6 years of experience in ERP support, systems administration, or a technical analyst role.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP or similar enterprise systems.
  • Working knowledge of SQL with experience writing queries and supporting reports.
  • Experience with scripting or coding languages such as Python or VBScript.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Exposure to system integrations or data workflows preferred.
  • Experience with Syspro, FileMaker, or SAP Crystal Reports is a plus.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across teams.
Why Join Wendover

Wendover offers an environment where systems matter, accountability is valued, and continuous improvement is expected. This role provides hands-on exposure to core business systems, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to grow technical capability while contributing to meaningful operational outcomes. For candidates seeking responsibility, learning, and long-term growth, this role offers a strong foundation.
