Job summary

The Transformation Group is seeking a seasoned Product Manager/Project Manager to lead ERP procurement and finance technology implementations. You will serve as the primary business and technology partner for Finance & Procurement, owning roadmaps, requirements, Agile delivery, reporting, analytics, and continuous process improvement.

• 7+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Project Manager in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Concur, Oracle ERP Cloud, or equivalent.
• Experience writing business requirements, user stories, functional specs, and process documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
• Experience using Agile delivery and leading cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, Finance, or Accounting; Master's is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the client's procurement technology platform.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, implementation partners, vendors, and engineering teams.
• Manage implementation activities including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration reviews, testing, training, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Ensure successful adoption of new procurement processes and technologies across the organization.
• Coordinate vendor deliverables, implementation plans, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support change management and organizational readiness activities.
• Act as Product Owner for procurement, finance, and administrative technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives.
• Prioritize product backlogs and facilitate trade-off decisions based on business value.
• Partner with Finance & Administration leadership to identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, compliance, user experience, and reporting capabilities.
• Lead discovery sessions and process workshops with business stakeholders.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes.
• Write and maintain business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
• Ensure requirements are traceable from business objectives through solution delivery.
• Facilitate stakeholder review and validation of requirements and solution designs.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, quality assurance teams, and implementation partners to deliver product enhancements and new capabilities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Validate delivered functionality against business requirements.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architectural, security, governance, and data standards.
• Define reporting and analytics requirements across business functions.
• Partner with data and engineering teams to develop operational dashboards, KPIs, and executive reporting.
• Monitor system adoption, process performance, and business outcomes.
• Establish metrics that support organizational decision making and operational excellence.
• Build trusted relationships across Finance, Procurement, and other business units.
• Facilitate consensus among diverse stakeholder groups.
• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

Job description

The ideal candidate will have hands-on product or project management experience implementing ERP applications; and optimization, and ongoing product management of procurement and finance-related technology platforms. This role will serve as the primary business and technology partner for Finance & Procurement and will lead the client's implementation of a new procurement platform and associated finance technology solutions, while also serving as the product manager responsible for platform roadmaps, business requirements, Agile delivery, reporting, analytics, and continuous process improvement.

Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with the client's business team.

7+ years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Project Manager in a fast-paced environment; business analyst experience preferred.

5+ years of experience managing large scale enterprise ERP applications such as Coupa, SAP (S/4HANA, Ariba, Concur, or related solutions), Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle Procurement Cloud, Similar Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, or ERP platform.

Experience managing technical projects using Agile methodologies.

Hands-on work experience and domain expertise in the Finance discipline required.

Process mapping, analysis and improvement expertise required.

Experience writing business requirements, user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation.

Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management skills.

Experience developing reports, dashboards, and operational metrics.

Ability to communicate technology concepts to non-technology staff and at all levels of the organization.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to coordinate and facilitate activities with colleagues.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, can multi-task, and have good verbal and written communication skills.
