Job summary

Duke Energy's Enterprise Protective Services (EPS), Threat Intelligence, Summer Internship offers hands-on experience in OSINT research and threat analysis at a major U.S. energy company.

As a currently enrolled student, you will conduct data collation, perform structured analysis, and create intelligence products to protect critical infrastructure, while networking with interns and senior staff during a hybrid internship near Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program in Criminal Justice, National Security, Intelligence, or related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 2.75
  • Must not graduate prior to August 2027
  • Leadership potential or demonstrated skills through extracurricular activities
  • Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings
  • Self-driven, motivated, and proactive approach
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent critical thinking skills

The Enterprise Protective Services (EPS), Threat Intelligence, Summer Internship is Duke Energy's professional development program designed for currently enrolled college students seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in critical infrastructure protection and threat intelligence operations at a major U.S. energy company.

EPS Threat Intelligence Summer Interns will participate in compelling business and security projects while gaining invaluable hands-on experience. They will develop familiarity with the organization and company operations through networking with fellow interns and senior-level employees, while honing skills for practical future application.

Internship Opportunities

Basic Qualifications

Working Conditions

Hybrid work environment - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations following the onboarding period. Hybrid employees should live within reasonable commuting distance to Charlotte, NC, University Area Minimal to no travel required
