The role owns the PMP and project schedule, directing a multidisciplinary team across business analysis, IT, and technical writing to meet all deliverables and performance standards.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, a related Bachelor's degree, 5–7 years managing large-scale PMPs, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a High-Risk Public Trust background investigation.
Bachelor's degree related to the field of work.
5–7 years of experience managing a large-scale PMP across an enterprise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3 years supporting the DHS or another federal agency is preferred.
Prior DHS experience with cybersecurity is desirable.

Responsibilities

Direct creation of the comprehensive acquisition portfolio management construct, including governance.
Oversee development of the portfolio pathway identification process and criteria.
Guide development of portfolio performance management addressing cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Ensure all deliverables meet performance standards.
Manage risk identification, tracking, mitigation and corrective actions.
Enforce records management, CUI safeguarding, and DHS security compliance.
