Project Overview
Seekingexperts in Project Management of medium to complex projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managemultiple medium to complex IT projects simultaneously.
- Developbusiness requirements in collaboration with business and technicalstakeholders.
- Createdetailed project plans and manage projects through successful execution.
- Trackproject schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and projectactivities.
- Identify,document, and manage project risks, issues, and risk triggers.
- Ensureproject deliverables are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
- Prepareand maintain project management documentation, reports, metrics, andproject artifacts.
- Provideclear written and verbal project status updates to leadership andstakeholders.
- Workclosely with internal teams, management, external organizations, andthird-party vendors.
- Understandbusiness processes and project details beyond project schedule management.
- Managemultiple high-profile and high-priority projects at the same time.
- Facilitatecollaboration among stakeholders with competing priorities and diverseinterests.
- UseSharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, Word, Access, and Excel forproject management and documentation.
- Applystrong written, verbal, listening, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experiencewith Medicaid or healthcare claims system IT projects is preferred but notmandatory.
Requirements
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’sdegree in a relevant field is required.
Required Skills:
- 3+years of project management experience.
- 3+years of project management experience within a healthcare insurance ITenvironment.
- Acurrent PMI certification such as CAPM, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or anotherapplicable PMI certification.
Preferred Skills:
- Medicaidor Healthcare Delivery Systems.
- ProjectManagement Professional Certification (PMP)
Additional Skills:
- Experiencewith project planning, including effort estimation for technical tasks andresource allocation.
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare anddeliver presentations to executive management.
- Strongproficiency in English.
