Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for its IS&T Enterprise Business Applications group in Austin, TX.

You will build and maintain automated tests for a next-generation PLM platform, collaborating with stakeholders across Apple’s product value chain. You will implement test plans and automation for large-scale on-premise and cloud systems, using TypeScript, Playwright, and API testing tools, while integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality assurance or software engineering.
• Experience developing test plans and automation strategies for complex full-stack apps.
• Experience testing and automating enterprise PLM systems.
• Hands-on automation for asynchronous and distributed systems.
• Strong TypeScript programming ability with API testing.
• SQL for test data setup and backend verification.
• Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
