Job summary

Union County is seeking a Security Management Coordinator to lead a holistic physical security program protecting people, assets, and operations. This role collaborates with IT, Emergency Services, Sheriff's Office, Facilities, and other departments to mitigate risk and safeguard infrastructure.

You will manage security systems, develop policies, oversee access control and video management, handle budgets and grants, and partner with law enforcement on investigations while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Security, Criminal Justice or related field with 4 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving history.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to deliver a comprehensive physical security program.
• Install, maintain, program, and operate CCTV, alarms, access control, and servers.
• Develop and implement physical security policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Law Enforcement and County offices on sensitive investigations.
• Manage security budget, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Support design and installation for security systems in construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy, and sensitive material handling.
