Job summary

HealthTrust, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an AVP Pharmacy Operations to provide executive leadership for enterprise pharmacy operations, developing strategies that support HealthTrust and HCA Healthcare.

The role leads senior directors and partners with Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Analytics, and other stakeholders to drive efficiency, standardization, and enhanced customer experience across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in operational pharmacy within acute care; leadership experience required.
• Active Pharmacist license and Lean/Six Sigma or PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise pharmacy operations strategy across HealthTrust and HCA Healthcare.
• Oversee CSC, warehouse, facility workflow, and governance to improve efficiency and financial performance.
• Partner with senior leadership across divisions to align initiatives and performance metrics.
• Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development within the department.
