Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 0–3 years of related experience in systems administration, IT support, or cybersecurity in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of basic patch management concepts and familiarity with common tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Current secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply foundational patch management principles to identify, test, and deploy OS and application updates across enterprise endpoints.
• Support coordination of routine and emergency patch cycles, including testing, approvals, maintenance window planning, and rollback procedures.
• Monitor vulnerability and patch compliance reports and remediate non-compliant systems.
• Understand dependencies between endpoints, servers, and networks for planning deployments.
• Assist with automated patch workflows, scheduling, targeting devices, and documenting results for audits.
• Maintain documentation for patch baselines, deployment procedures, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity staff to align patching with threats and security policies.
