Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Professional Practice & Governance Specialist to lead evidence-based nursing initiatives across the enterprise. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing projects while shaping policies and practice standards.

You will collaborate with the College of Nursing and partner departments to advance evidence-based practice and mentor nursing staff at all levels within OSUWMC.

Qualifications

RN license in Ohio required.
8+ years of relevant experience; 12+ years preferred.
Experience leading evidence-based practice changes in academic medical center.
Program planning and project management skills.
Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of EB nursing projects.
Review and create nursing policies and procedures.
Lead enterprise-wide nursing standards of practice.
Collaborate with OSU College of Nursing and Academic Practice Partnership.
Mentor staff and promote evidence-based practice.
