Job summary
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Staff Associate to lead evidence-based nursing projects across the enterprise, collaborating with nursing leadership and the College of Nursing to advance patient care quality.
You will oversee assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of EBP initiatives, mentor staff, and help maintain evidence-based standards of practice throughout the Medical Center.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or business administration required.
- Doctoral degree preferred (PhD, DNP).
- 8+ years of relevant experience required.
- Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio.
- Experience leading evidence-based practice change initiatives on microsystem & macrosystem levels.
- Strong program planning, project management, and leading nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of EBP projects enterprise-wide.
- Lead the review and creation of nursing policies and procedures for the Medical Center.
- Mentor staff and ensure evidence-based practice is understood and measurable.
- Collaborate with the College of Nursing and Academic Practice Partnership.
- Advance evidence-based standards of practice across the organization.
