Job summary

SDI International Corp. seeks a Network Support Engineer to provide ongoing managed services support for a major automotive client. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve network infrastructure while supporting day-to-day operations and network-related projects.

Responsibilities include monitoring across LAN/WAN, supporting IP/VoIP/routing/switching on multiple platforms, and collaborating with vendors. Strong communication and multitasking are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise networking environments and managed services.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and VoIP technologies.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
• Coordination with vendors/service providers for installation and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with automation or scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN environments.
• Support IP, VoIP, routing, switching, and other network technologies across multiple platforms.
• Diagnose network connectivity, performance, and configuration issues and implement effective resolutions.
• Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers and switches.
• Collaborate with vendors/service providers on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in network implementations, upgrades, migrations, and projects.
• Develop and test PoC solutions for new networking technologies.
• Analyze requirements and contribute to network architecture and design.
• Assist with project planning, cost analysis, and vendor comparisons.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Provide guidance and training to users and support teams.
• Identify opportunities for automation and reliability improvements.
