The Phoenix Group is seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and security in a dynamic IT environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, including design, installation, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and remote access solutions.
• Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Cisco Prime, Wireshark).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat mitigation, and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot, and resolve connectivity issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement network security measures including intrusion prevention and access controls.
• Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and asset inventories.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on threat mitigation and incident response plans.
