Job summary

Hamilton Barnes partners with a national technology solutions provider to recruit an experienced Network Engineer for its Professional Services team in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on deploying enterprise networks, configuring Fortinet, Arista, and Cisco devices, and collaborating with senior architects on complex designs.

You will work directly with enterprise customers on implementation, migrations, and post-deployment validation while maintaining strong communication and technical guidance

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
• Experience configuring and deploying Arista switching platforms.
• Solid Cisco networking experience (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR).
• Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.

Responsibilities

• Deploy enterprise network infrastructure for new customer implementations and technology refresh projects.
• Configure and implement Fortinet, Arista, and Cisco networking solutions in production environments.
• Collaborate with CCIE-level architects to execute complex network designs and deployment strategies.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, and security issues across enterprise environments.
• Support customers through escalated technical issues and provide timely problem resolution.
• Design scalable LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networking solutions based on customer requirements.
• Perform migrations, hardware refreshes, and upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Validate configurations and conduct post-deployment testing for successful delivery.
• Document configurations, procedures, and recommendations.
• Participate in customer meetings to gather requirements and provide guidance.
