Job summary

Addison Group in Irving, TX is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure for a large technology‑driven enterprise. You will manage routing, switching, firewall, wireless and SD‑WAN environments while delivering reliable, scalable, and secure connectivity across the organization.

This onsite role requires Tue–Fri presence per business needs. Compensation includes a base salary of $110,000–$115,000 plus a 15% annual bonus, plus traditional

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise network engineering
• Experience with large-scale routing/switching
• Hands-on with Palo Alto Firewalls, SD-WAN, Juniper/Aruba
• Experience troubleshooting production networks
• Strong network security knowledge
• Ability to work independently and with teams

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and optimize routing, switching, firewall, wireless, and SD-WAN environments.
• Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and health.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support automation, provisioning, and configuration management initiatives.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Implement and maintain network security best practices.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Systems, and Operations teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
• Participate in on-call support and incident rotations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
