A leading automotive company in Irving, Texas is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage and support their extensive network infrastructure across 90 locations. This full-time, in-office position involves overseeing LAN/WAN communications, troubleshooting, and mentoring IT staff while ensuring compliance with security protocols and efficient operation of network systems. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience and familiarity with Cisco and SD-WAN technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
• Understanding of network protocols and ports.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage LAN, WAN, VPN, and security systems.
• Mentor IT team members on network components.
• Document network configurations and changes.

Skills

Network protocols and ports (TCP/IP, SSH, FTP, ICA, HTTPS)

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of security and privacy practices

Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto experience

SD-WAN experience (preferably Meraki)
