Job summary

American Regent, Inc. in Shirley, NY is seeking an IT Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our enterprise network, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and voice/data systems across multiple sites.

You will work closely with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure teams to ensure performance, security, and compliance. The role covers Cisco and Palo Alto devices, data center connectivity, cloud networking, and ongoing modernization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in networking engineering or related IT infrastructure role.
• Mastery level of Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment and certifications.
• Hands-on experience configuring LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, routing and switching.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, monitor and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Configure and administer Nexus/Catalyst switching core and WAN with IPSEC/MPLS.
• Manage Cisco Voice systems (CUCM/CUC/CUCX) and firewall platforms (ASA, Palo Alto).
• Maintain network diagrams, standards, procedures and documentation.
• Provide incident response support and on-call escalation as required.
