Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. is seeking a Network Administrator to join our Global IT team. This hands-on role will deploy and modernize network infrastructure across locations, including new facilities, expansions, and major upgrades.

The ideal candidate is curious, organized, and detail-oriented, blending hands-on networking with project coordination. You will work on configuring VLANs, switches, and equipment, while coordinating with IT teams, vendors, and facilities staff to ensure successful deployments

Qualifications

• Degree or technical education in Information Technology, Networking, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and deploy enterprise network switches and related infrastructure.
• Support deployments for new facilities, expansions, and hardware refresh projects.
• Configure VLANs, switch ports, trunks, uplinks, and network settings.
• Stage, configure, label, inventory, and test equipment before deployment.
• Assist with wireless infrastructure, racks, patch panels, UPS, cabling, and related components.
• Coordinate deployment activities with IT teams, vendors, and facilities personnel.
• Maintain project plans, checklists, inventories, diagrams, and technical docs.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues during deployments.
• Ensure installations follow standards for network, security, labeling, and documentation.
• Travel to company locations to support onsite deployments.
