Job summary

The City of San Luis seeks a Network and IT Security Administrator to safeguard the City’s computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. You will implement security policies, manage VPNs, firewalls, and backups while ensuring compliance with data access rules and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include designing secure architectures, auditing systems, leading a small team, and coordinating vendor choices. A bachelor’s degree and relevant IT/security experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS or related field.
• Two years of experience with network devices and one year of security experience.
• Extensive IT and network security experience across WAN/LAN, servers, and telecom.
