Job summary

CapTech is seeking a Machine Learning / Data Science Engineer in Denver, CO to design and deploy scalable ML systems for enterprise clients.

You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and clients to translate complex business needs into data-driven solutions, deploy in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), and contribute to CapTech's ML practice through innovation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
• Proficiency with SQL, Spark, NoSQL, and cloud data processing frameworks.
• Experience with Docker and microservices.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure SQL, and Amazon RDS.
• Experience with production-scale ML systems and LLMS in real environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps, statistics, model versioning, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and agentic AI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Strategizing with clients, data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end ML solutions and identify new ML approaches.
• Deconstructing client needs into data-driven processes/models and analytical measures.
• Analyzing and transforming large datasets hosted on enterprise data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Designing, developing, and deploying analytical solutions leveraging client data (recommender systems, NLP, risk scoring).
• Productionizing ML systems with optimization and scalability to satisfy client requirements.
• Growing CapTech’s ML & DS practices through client presentations, proposals, and leading teams.
