Ardent Health is seeking an Enterprise Diversion Compliance Director to lead the enterprise Medication Diversion Program, ensuring DEA and Joint Commission compliance across the system. This role manages training, policy development, and investigations to minimize diversion risks.

Candidates bring a Master’s degree or higher and 8+ years in audit/compliance, plus 5+ years of leadership; willingness to travel up to 25%.

8+ years of relevant experience in audit, investigation, compliance, or social sciences.
5+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

Accountable for enterprise controlled substance compliance and the Medication Diversion Program, including development of training, policies, and procedures.
Researches and applies best practices to reduce variation in medication management processes.
Lead the Corporate Medication Diversion Committee and oversee compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, DEA, FDA, and state/federal laws.
Direct supervision of corporate medication diversion and compliance teams.
Lead strategy for medication compliance audits at the facility level.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, informatics, IT, pharmacy, safety, risk, HR, legal, and communications to build a safe, reliable drug diversion program infrastructure.
