Job summary

Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) Analyst Graduate Internship to help develop the next generation of data professionals. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or pursuing graduate degree.
• Pursuance of a graduate degree full or part-time in an accredited college or university.
• Data Analytics, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• This position displays effective communication skills while interacting directly with colleagues, clientele, and/or other internal or external constituencies in planning assignments and resolving day-to-day operational problems.
• Under supervision, provide professional services as appropriate to day-to-day operating objectives; receives guidance, training, and mentoring from senior personnel.
• Undertake and/or participate in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise for the organization.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise and ability.
• As requested by management, conducts research and reporting including recommendations or alternative proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate to the specific objectives of the operating unit.

• Analyze and profile enterprise datasets to support data management initiatives.
• Evaluate data quality dimensions and identify data issues and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support data management policies and governance.

• Participate in strategic data governance and master data initiatives across the organization.
