This on-site role requires Locals Only eligibility, W2, and USC/GC status with responsibilities spanning design, performance tuning, and deployment procedures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• 10+ years of SQL database development and optimization.
• 8+ years of experience supporting and enhancing large enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of Linux experience.
• Strong experience in coding, testing, debugging, and application maintenance.
• Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Knowledge of database schema design and performance optimization.
• Experience troubleshooting application issues, system logs, memory utilization, and connectivity.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience creating technical documentation, flowcharts, and implementation plans.
• Ability to coordinate development activities and mentor team members.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, especially JIRA.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with State of Texas applications and DPS systems.
• Experience migrating legacy mainframe applications to Java/SQL environments.

Responsibilities
