Publicis Sapient, a digital transformation partner, is seeking an Enterprise Java Architect to design and implement scalable Java microservices. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape API design, security, and observability, and drive cloud-native integration for clients.<\/p>

The role requires 8+ years in Java, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud expertise, and hands-on CI/CD. Expect a leadership position with strong collaboration across stakeholders and a focus on innovation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other Java frameworks for microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Proficiency using AI pair-programmers and engineering assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to optimize workflow.

Enterprise Java Architect

As an Architect specializing in Java Microservices, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to architect, develop, and optimize microservices-based applications that drive business value and innovation.

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on microservices architecture.
• Proven expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other Java-based frameworks for building microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Proficiency using AI pair-programmers and engineering assistants (specifically GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code) to optimize workflow efficiency and accelerate problem-solving"
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Set Yourself Apart With

• Certifications in Java, Spring, or cloud platforms (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, etc.).
• Experience with serverless computing and event-driven microservices.
• Knowledge of distributed tracing, logging, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).
• Strong understanding of security best practices for microservices and cloud-native applications.

Additional information

Salary Range: $135,000 - $190,000

The range shown represents a grouping of ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work.
