Job summary

The role involves hands-on server builds, rack integration, hardware configuration, and data center operations, with collaboration across engineers and OEM partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in enterprise IT hardware support/deployment.
• Hands-on experience with servers, storage, networking gear.
• Proficient in Windows and Office applications.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Valid California driver’s license.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.
• Willing to work overtime and occasional early shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade enterprise hardware.
• Configure, integrate, test, and validate customer solutions.
• Install/upgrade CPUs, memory, SSD/HDD, RAID controllers, NICs, power supplies.
• Perform QA testing and deployment readiness checks.
• Support rack integration and data center projects.
• Assist with server rooms/IDF/MDF deployments.
• Document configurations, repairs, and inventory updates.
• Asset tag and track equipment using internal systems and Excel.
• Prepare integrated solutions for shipment and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, OEM partners to meet deadlines.
• Follow safety, QA, and ESD procedures.
