Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc in Massachusetts is seeking an IT Systems Architect to align enterprise technology with business strategy. You will design, implement, and govern scalable IT architectures across servers, AD, cloud, security, and networking, working with IT teams and business units.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a track record in architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, and security controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT architecture, systems integration, or related roles.
Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, Gartner EA).
Strong understanding of cloud computing, data management, cybersecurity, and application development.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the organization’s enterprise architecture strategy, standards, and guidelines.
Lead the design and integration of IT systems, applications, data, and infrastructure across the enterprise.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and effective technology solutions.
Work collaboratively with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that add value to the organization.
Ensure compliance with security policies, data governance, and regulatory requirements in architectural designs.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to solution architects, developers, and other IT staff.
Document architectural decisions, system designs, and integration processes for knowledge sharing and governance.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology implementations and system integrations.
Facilitate architectural reviews and present recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
