Job summary

Southern Company is seeking an Integration Developer focused on Hire-to-Rret/HR tech, delivering enterprise integrations and API-enabled data exchange. Responsibilities include building, testing, and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud integrations, AS/ESB connections, and middleware components across the HR technology footprint.

The role emphasizes security, reliability, and scalable data synchronization, with experience in OIC adapters, REST/SOAP APIs, ORDS, HDL, and related tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS/Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years building software in enterprise environments; HR tech or payroll experience is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud integration and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency with OIC adapters including Oracle HCM Cloud, REST, SOAP, and DB/file integrations.
• Knowledge of security, data transformation, orchestration, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and modern CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of API management, data sharing, and middleware patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations across Oracle HCM Cloud and enterprise systems.
• Develop and support REST/SOAP APIs, data mapping and transformations.
• Configure adapters (OIC, ORDS, HDL, ATOM) and ensure security and reliability.
• Troubleshoot production integrations and drive issue resolution with teams.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and share knowledge across teams.
