The ideal candidate will contribute across the stack, from API design to database interactions, while collaborating in an Agile environment and aligning with security and performance goals.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for 4 years of experience
• Experience with JavaScript frontend and Java backend
• Experience with Elasticsearch and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications using JavaScript frontend frameworks
• Implement and optimize backend services and APIs using Java
• Integrate Elasticsearch to support search, indexing, and retrieval
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver user-friendly experiences
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
• Monitor performance and address availability/scalability/data accuracy issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies
