Job summary

GS1 US is seeking a Manager, Event Program Management to lead planning and coordination for GS1 Connect and other enterprise events. You will partner with strategy, marketing, audience acquisition, programming, sponsorship, technology, and operations to translate strategies into actionable plans and timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years in project or program management, a bachelor’s degree, and a collaborative mindset to drive cross-functional accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in project/program/event management or related.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of PM methodologies, planning, risk management.
• Experience creating integrated plans and cross-functional tools.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and PM platforms.
• Ability to prioritize in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated planning for GS1 Connect and priority enterprise event portfolio.
• Translate event strategies into actionable workstreams, milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
• Coordinate across event strategy, marketing, audience acquisition, programming, sponsorship, technology, operations, and external partners.
• Establish ownership, deliverables, and accountability for cross-functional workstreams.
• Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
• Support governance, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across Enterprise Events.
• Drive process improvements and standardized practices across the portfolio.
• Coordinate with external agencies and partners for successful event delivery.
