Job summary

Southern Company is seeking an Endpoint Security Architect to lead enterprise endpoint security architecture across workstations, servers, and mobile devices. You will define strategy, roadmap, and governance standards in partnership with Cybersecurity Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud Security, and business stakeholders.

The role requires translating complex security concepts into business and investment terms, guiding technology decisions, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related security disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience designing or leading enterprise cybersecurity architectures.
• Experience defining security standards and roadmaps for enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of endpoint security architectures including EPP, EDR, and device management.
• Experience evaluating security technologies and influencing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define endpoint security strategy and multi-year roadmap across endpoints.
• Lead architectural leadership for endpoint security initiatives and deployments.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud Security, and business stakeholders.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of endpoint security technologies (EPP, EDR, mobile security).
• Conduct architecture reviews and security assessments to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop business cases and executive-level presentations on security value and ROI.
