Job Summary

We’re looking for a District Sales Manager to lead our Enterprise Client Executive team in the Pacific Northwest. This is a territory with significant opportunity to expand NetApp’s enterprise presence, deepen customer relationships, and win new accounts. We need a leader who can turn that opportunity into a clear plan and motivate the team to execute. You’ll lead enterprise sellers supporting enterprise accounts, while building the coverage, pipeline, relationships, and operating discipline needed to grow the region. Success requires someone who can translate territory goals into actionable account plans, help reps prioritize whitespace, and coach the activities that move opportunities forward.

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, sets clear expectations, stays actively involved, and creates a culture where people take ownership and want to win together.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Enterprise Client Executives across the Pacific Northwest.
  • Build and execute a regional growth strategy that expands NetApp’s enterprise presence through existing customer growth, competitive displacement, and net-new account acquisition.
  • Help reps develop actionable territory and account plans that identify priority whitespace, customer opportunities, key stakeholders, partner relationships, and specific next steps.
  • Establish a disciplined operating cadence around pipeline generation, account planning, forecast accuracy, opportunity qualification, and deal execution.
  • Inspect progress consistently, identify gaps early, and help reps adjust their approach while maintaining accountability for execution and results.
  • Build strong relationships with VARs and strategic channel partners, creating joint account strategies and coordinated prospecting efforts that generate measurable business.
  • Actively participate in customer and partner meetings, executive presentations, and strategic deal reviews to help the team create momentum and win.
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architects, Channel, and Marketing to align resources around territory priorities and customer opportunities.
  • Hire, onboard, and retain strong enterprise sales talent while providing ongoing performance coaching and career development.
  • Build a culture of energy, resilience, ownership, and teamwork where people embrace the work required to develop a territory and compete for new business.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, including 3+ years leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven success building and developing sales teams that consistently deliver against quota and growth objectives.
  • Experience developing an underpenetrated territory or expanding enterprise business through disciplined account planning, pipeline creation, and new customer acquisition.
  • Strong knowledge of the channel and VAR ecosystem is required, with demonstrated success translating partner relationships into pipeline and revenue.
  • Storage, data infrastructure, or data center sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent operational discipline, including forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and consistent follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach reps on whitespace strategy, account entry, executive engagement, and complex enterprise sales execution.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate experienced sellers, address performance gaps, and build confidence through hands-on coaching.
  • Competitive mindset, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership, with the energy to build a business and sustain the team’s momentum.
