Job summary

Unisys seeks a senior IT leader to own the strategy, architecture, and governance of enterprise Disaster Recovery (DR) across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments. You will coordinate with internal teams and third-party providers to ensure rapid restoration during disaster events and align DR plans to RTO/RPO objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for higher leadership roles.
• 12+ years of experience in IT architecture, infrastructure, or enterprise systems.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, hybrid environments).

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise Disaster Recovery architecture, standards, and frameworks aligned with ITIL/ITSM Service Continuity Management practices.
• Develop resilient architectures across cloud, infrastructure, and applications, including failover and replication strategies.
• Translate business requirements into DR technical solutions and architecture designs.
• Lead development, maintenance, and governance of Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).
• Ensure DRPs align with Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
• Lead DR readiness through testing, validation, and governance processes.
