Job summary

enGen is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Data Protection leader to drive the program's strategy, architecture, and execution across data security capabilities including DLP, data classification, encryption, and key management. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and partner with security, cloud, privacy, and business units to protect sensitive information while enabling business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Computer Science or related field
• 6 years of relevant experience substitution for a Bachelor's Degree
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform management responsibilities including hiring and termination decisions; coaching and development; rewards and recognition; performance management and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations; develop and implement policies and programs; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
• Provide oversight of all aspects of project management to ensure continuous improvement of processes; negotiate and collaborate with leadership to develop security solutions; ensure adherence to methodologies; coordinate resources and risk management.
• Provide leadership to the department: lead organizational change; champion information security innovation; enforce training in regards to security issues.
• Ensure compliance to Corporate and Information Security policies, standards and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; prepare procedures, policies, reports and correspondence; spread awareness of threats; oversee metrics, funding, budgets and resources.
• Other duties as assigned.
