Job summary

rockITdata is seeking a Data / Reporting Architect to design enterprise reporting solutions transforming complex data into actionable insights for federal healthcare modernization initiatives. You will work with analysts, engineers, and program management to build reporting architectures and data models that inform leadership and government stakeholders.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in enterprise reporting or data architecture, strong SQL, BI tool experience (Power BI/Tableau/SSRS), and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (see listing).
Five years of experience designing enterprise reporting solutions or data architecture in complex IT environments.
Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, and enterprise reporting solutions.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS or similar BI and visualization tools.
Experience designing data models, reporting frameworks, and executive dashboards.
Familiarity with ETL, data integration, cloud-based reporting, and data governance.
Experience with AWS/Azure/Snowflake/SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL is preferred.
Experience supporting Federal healthcare organizations or program management is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain enterprise reporting architecture for program management, operations, and executive dashboards.
Develop scalable data models, reporting frameworks, and BI solutions using industry best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and data visualization strategies.
Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines.
Develop executive dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Ensure reporting accuracy through data validation, QA, and governance processes.
Partner with analysts and technical teams to identify new reporting opportunities and improve data access.
Maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, reporting standards, and diagrams.
Support governance meetings with reporting solutions and analytical insights.
Recommend continuous improvements to reporting architecture and data integration.
