Job summary

Neptune Technology Group Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Data Practice Manager to lead the data & analytics practice across Neptune, enabling decision-makers with trusted data.

You will oversee data lifecycle, governance, quality, and security while supporting delivery teams and establishing enterprise wide information management standards. You will partner with internal teams such as Sales, PMO, Finance, and Services to align data initiatives with business goals, implement data sharing policies,

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of relevant experience as a data practice manager or as a Data Scientist with leadership.
• Strong understanding of data administration and management functions.
• Experience leading data workstreams in large-scale digital transformations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Familiar with modern database and information system technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork and leadership.
• Operational excellence; delivering in scope, on time, and on budget.
• Experience with SAP ERP preferred.
• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud preferred.
• Power BI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and enforce policies for effective data management.
• Lead and develop a team of data analysts.
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection and legitimacy.
• Implement secure data handling and analysis procedures.
• Collaborate with Sales, PMO, Finance, Services, Marketing and SW teams.
• Act as trusted advisor to internal customers and align data solutions with objectives.
• Present tailored data solutions and manage data sharing rules.
• Support data systems usage and ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist with reports and data extraction as needed.
• Monitor information systems and pursue improvements and upgrades.
