Job summary

Dematic is seeking a senior software architect to lead Vision, Architecture, and Platform Strategy for the Solution Data Repository. You will guide enterprise ontology design, data standards, and interoperability across catalogs and downstream tools.

You will collaborate with product and domain leaders to align platform evolution with market needs and customer outcomes, ensuring scalable, AI-ready architecture across a multi-year roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software architecture and development experience for data-centric platforms.
• Experience driving scalable enterprise data ontologies and data architectures.
• Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical vision, architecture principles, and engineering strategy for the Solution Data Repository.
• Lead the design and development of an enterprise ontology to inform the technical architecture.
• Establish robust design patterns, integration contracts, and data standards for lifecycle continuity.
• Own architecture decisions for core platform capabilities and interoperability.
• Drive evolution with catalogs/configurations authored, versioned, and persisted.
• Coordinate interoperability between catalogs, SDF sources, and downstream tools.
• Balance flexibility for customer solutions with standardization for reuse, quality, and speed.
• Partner with product and domain leaders to align platform evolution with market needs.
• Ensure platform design supports enterprise-scale AI usage with context and metadata.
