Job summary

Dematic is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the technical vision and architecture for a data-centric enterprise platform. You will own ontology design, data standards, and API-first integration across the solution data repository, partnering with product teams to balance flexibility and reuse.

Responsibilities include defining engineering strategy, setting governance, and driving CI/CD, testing, and observability practices for scalable, secure software delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software architecture and development experience for data-centric platforms.
• Experience driving design of scalable enterprise data ontologies and APIs.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive technical direction.
• Experience with enterprise integration and secure software practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical vision, architecture principles, and engineering strategy for the Solution Data Repository.
• Lead the design and development of an enterprise ontology to inform the technical architecture.
• Establish design patterns, integration contracts, and data standards for lifecycle continuity.
• Own architecture decisions for core platform capabilities and interoperability.
• Drive evolution for catalogs, configurations, and data persistence.
• Ensure platform supports AI scale with context, semantics, and metadata.
• Collaborate with product and domain leaders to align platform with market needs.
• Guide engineering governance, quality frameworks, and platform standards.
